I'm a Mum!

Alrighty so the play that I auditioned for and got into, Beyond Imagination, is about a boy and his imaginary friend. The boy is gonna be played by my darling friend Ben and the imaginary friend by my friend Will, both of whom you will surely hear more about in the future. The imaginary friend will apparently be wearing a neutral mask so all the promo stuff for the play looks a lot like this:

All I know now in terms of plot is that there's a big shocking twist. I find out the full story on Sunday at the first read through.
I found out on Wednesday that I am to play the mum of the main boy. Apparently it's a pretty big part and I ran into the director and she said that the mother is the main protagonist...but I'm not sure how that works if the story revolves around the boy. I dunno, maybe it does.
Anyways, I'm well excited and I'm not gonna lie, I'd very much like to try my accent on this play.

Yesterday was the Slice of Saturday Night dance auditions where I learned a fun little '60s number. My dance wasn't too clean I think but gosh darn it I have so much fun at those dance auditions. I did for Little Shop, and this time around there was a smaller group so we weren't there too late into the night.

And our review for Oleanna was in the student paper today. I got two copies- will mail one home.

More to come later on.
